Both Manchester United and Aston Villa look to improve

By  James Folsom

Only one more day until Aston Villa takes on Manchester United to kick off Week Two of the Premier League season. Both sides come in with three points gained in Week One as both won 1-0.

Both sides were fortunate to come away with three points in the opener.
Man U went into halftime against Tottenham Hotspur up 1-0 but perhaps lucky not to be down 2-0. The Spurs gave United an own goal and missed two easy chances that would not have been saved had they been on target. Many thought the Spurs dominated play but let one get away.
Ditto for Aston Villa who had the unfortunate task of visiting Bournemouth in their first ever Premier League match. Bournemouth was fired up and took it to Aston Villa and they too had several shots that a Premier League side needs to convert into goals. Bournemouth dominated the first half and should have been up 2-0.
Credit both of these sides for getting the three points. Aston Villa escaped what we call in the States a “trap game” and got the win.
So who wins this match? I like Manchester United to win 2-1.
