The off week is over! Time to get back to the Premier League season. There are some great games on Saturday including the early game (7:45 AM at my house) between Everton and Chelsea. The defending champions are already in “must win” mode as they can ill afford another loss.
Manchester City go on the road to face Crystal Palace in what might be the biggest match of the season thus far. A Crystal Palace win at home and they would be tied for the lead at 12 points. This would be the debut for Kevin DeBruyne in Carolina Blue. A win for City would be huge because it would be yet another win over one of the top clubs on the road.
City was red hot to start the season and then the International Break hit. Normally a hot team does not want time off. If City continues to win over their closest competition after a week off, it might further demoralize the rest of the league. If CP can win, then that would leave the door open for the winner between Manchester United and Liverpool to draw within two points of the lead on Sunday.
Of course, I am hoping for another dominating performance from City that would further get them ready for the Champions League Group play.
