Man City seal late win against Crystal Palace, remain top of the league

No Silva. No Sterling. No Aguero. Playing the second place team on the road. 0-0 at 85:00. It looked like someone may finally take City down or at least hold them to a draw. But City still managed to get the win. This might be their most impressive win so far, especially recovering from Navas missing a point blank wide open net.

De Bruyne looked good in his first match with City. It was he who set up Navas with a beautiful would-be assist. Sterling is supposed to be back for Tuesday’s match with Juventus, which shows how seriously City is taking the Champions League that they rested one of their stars in a road game against the second place team in the Premier League to have him ready for a Group Stage match in the Champions League. I like it.
This game today was highly entertaining. Joe Hart actually saw some action today and came up big for City. But the match Tuesday against last year’s Champions League runner-up is going to be must see TV. I cannot wait! GO CITY!!
