Manchester United certainly has flipped the table on City, taking over the top spot after it looked like a few weeks ago they were in danger of a Europa League berth for next season. Martial has really given them a spark since joining the team a few weeks back. This kid looks like the next Beckham as far star power and impact on the team is concerned.
Hopefully, this translates into success in the Champions League this week because the Premier League could use some wins there. Match Day one was rather shameful for the EPL with three of the four sides losing, most would agree to inferior opposition except for maybe Juventus.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, Man U faces Wolfsburg at home at Old Trafford in a match they had better win if the have any thoughts of advancing. Wolfsburg is doing well in Bundesliga so far, tied for fourth place. They won in their first Group Stage match a couple of week ago 1-0 over Moscow. Their one hiccup as of late was a 5-1 loss to Bayern Munich but then again, everyone loses to Bayern.
Man U is playing a lot better these past couple of weeks since they lost on Match Day One. I like them to win this one.
