Klopp can’t walk on water after all as Liverpool held to a draw against Spurs

By Iftakhar Sheikh

In the build up to his appointment Liverpool fans regard Klopp as Jesus, their saviour. But his powers seemed to be useless on the Liverpool squad. He was hit early on with the news of Sturridge being injured as his side earned a point in a goalless yet entertaining draw at white hart lane.

Some feeling of joy or consolation as Liverpool grabbed their first clean sheet since August. Self-proclaimed normal ones side produced a normal performance that wasn’t never really enough to get them three points.

Spurs were rampant and in hot form before the match as they thrashed city by 4-1 in the previous encounter. Both sides desperately tried to score as Liverpool had 12 attempts on goal to spurs 13 attempts. Coutinho had little to no impact on the game and the next “Ronaldinho” looked below average today on a day when a lot was expected from him especially after the arrival of klopp.
