Philosophy triumphs as Manchester united comprehensively beat Everton by 3-0. Before the international break Arsenal taught United some philosophy by burying the game in the starting 16 minutes at Emirates stadium.
United needed to respond against a resilient Everton side who were unbeaten in their last 5. United displayed their patient and philosophical style of play and it worked. Schneiderlin opened the scoring from a rather bizarre turn of events. HERRERA scored a second from Rojo’s cross from the left flank. While ROONEY thumped in the third one in the second half to ensure three points for united.
Toffees as it seemed were chewing their candy bars in the first half as they showed no energy or commitment which is usually their trademark. Mourning the death of their greatest ever manager the toffees gave away a match which they were tipped to win given the philosophical side had a shaky previous game.
