Manchester is neither red but blue it’s dull and boring. One of the biggest derby in the recent history of English football failed to deliver what it promised.
Both sets of fans were disappointed by a draw yet the points table gives city fans some joy as this draw puts them top of the table above arsenal, but just on goal difference.
For United Rojo was the best man he not only kept KDB in his pocket but put a good block on Citys midfield by his sizzling performance. He kept citys most dangerous man busy and ensured that there was less troubles for De Gea and co.
City looked somewhat happy about the result as Bony’s woeful performance reminded them of the absence of star striker Aguero and talismanic playmaker Silva. Playing away from home a point would keep them on top and they were happy to do that. Kompany’s presence made City’s defense rock solid.
Best chances fell United’s way and mainly they were two of them which came in second half. Lingard’s shot touching the cross bar and Smallings cheeky attempt brilliantly saved by Hart to ensure a 0-0 draw.
