Chelsea show signs of life

By Shaukat Hamdani

It has been a wretched of a season for Chelsea fans. After the euphoria of last season it has been a hard one to swallow. But maybe the fact that we won last season has made it a bit bearable. But before Saturday it still was hard to remember a good performance that resulted in a win in the premier league. But against Norwich it finally seems like there is life in Chelsea.

Yes let’s take it with a grain of salt, it was only Norwich (no disrespect to them of course). And also it was just 1-0. But the important thing unlike other games this season we did hang on and win. Our last Bpl game against Stoke we did show a lot of fight but still ended up losing. So this was big.

Eden Hazard finally looked like the Hazard of last year. Buzzing across the pitch and setting up chances. Taking on defenders with an air of confidence that was missing this season so far. It was an absolute delight to watch.

On the other end of the pitch the defense looked strong for the most of it. Some crucial interceptions and one great block from Captain, Leader, Legend, John Terry ensured we finally got a win and hopefully we can kick on from here.

The big gamble that Mourinho had was putting in Ivanovic and benching Azpi to put in the youngster Kennedy. But boy did the gamble work. Kennedy was rarely troubled in defense and was a great attacking threat.

Now all Chelsea need to do now is making sure they do their job midweek and keep up the momentum.

Keep the Blue Flag Flying High!!!!
