It’s all normal in the footballing world. Nothing much just the fact that Chelsea lost again. Chelsea lost to their fellow relegation battlers Bournemouth. The key battle at Stamford bridge was won by the away team with a 0-1 scoreline.
Being at home you would expect Chelsea to be dominant and they were with 67% possession and 11 corners. They had total 18 attempts on goal with 9 being on target. For the defending champions it is poor if they don’t convert 18 attempts into a single goal.
And that’s what Bournemouth did perfectly well. They took their chance when it came. It came late but they took it perfectly. Glenn Murray scoring the only goal of the match on the 83rd minute.
A pathetic performance by Chelsea once again heaps pressure on Jose Mourinho as Chelsea still can’t put their campaign back on track. Chelsea fans have started to even worry whether they will make it even into the top half of the table at the end of season.
