Something is wrong with Manchester United. Yeah i guessed it they finally won a game. United finally won a game after almost a month and a half. United fans are surely joyous as they feel they have finally won the Champions league.
But mind you, they are still at the same level of boredom as they were in the previous month. The first half was goalless. Last time United scored a goal in the first half was way back in September. Something to ponder upon for Van Gaal.
United started the second half in a very Non-philosophical way. They were attacking and were purposeful. They got their reward in the 48th minute as golden boy Martial scored through Ashley Young cross. Sigurdsson equalized via a rather unorthodox yet effective header which even De Gea could not stop with his arms fully stretched.
Nonetheless it had to be the golden boy Martial to save the day and more importantly the philosophy who did some great work at the wing and that work and skill was truly equaled by Wayne Rooney who scored the winning goal via a sumptuous flick that gave the keeper no chance.
