Chelsea finally bag a win to kickoff the new year

Wait for a moment. Did actually Chelsea win or I’m living in a wonderland. Diego Costa involved in two goals as well. Surely the end is near. Although it’s not really the end as Chelsea continue with their consistency of winning at least one premier league game each month since the start of this season.

However the Blues looked a completely different team at Selhurst Park. There was a different level of energy and ambition in the team. Oscar scored the first goal after being setup by the revitalized Diego Costa. The main thing of the goal was the passion by Costa and then all 10 outfield players celebrating the goal together.

Second goal was scored by the brilliance of Willian. As he hit a cracker giving the keeper no chance whatsoever to stop it.

The third goal was a reward for the rampant and resurging Diego Costa who has finally found his form back under Hiddink. His goal put the game to bed and ensured three points for the blues.

It still might not be enough for Chelsea as they have fallen too much behind. A top four finish for Chelsea is extremely difficult yet but absolutely possible given how competitive and unpredictable the premier league is, especially this year.
