Chelsea season objective achieved. They are out of the relegation fight.

Chelsea have finally meet their season objectives and the club administration can finally take a sigh of relief. Critical decisions were made some time ago. Managers were changed in hope of achieving the season objectives.

Finally Chelsea are well on their way to avoid relegation; yes the season objective for them. They are the unbeaten side in 2016 with 3 wins and 5 draws.

A super clash at Stamford Bridge resulted in a draw as both the clubs settled for a 1-1 draw. Chelsea were against a 5th spot team so obviously they had to absorb all the attack and try and score because at the end of the day Chelsea were fighting relegation.

Costa scored a late late injury time goal to equalize and salvage a point for the blues. Chelsea have drawn four straight games at Stamford Bridge for the first time in premier league history.

Chelsea quite surprisingly the defending champions currently find themselves 13th on the league table. They haven’t won back to back matches this season.

Chelsea must create a winning streak of some sort if they are to finish at a respectable spot on the table. At least ensuring European football can be taken as a good comeback for them.
