Manchester City played Southampton on Sunday and as expected Southampton did very well and earned a point against Gaurdiola’s team. Southampton were resolute in their defending and were intelligently keeping the opposition at bay. The crowd wasn’t much fascinated by the show. John Stones was also getting bored so he decided to gift opposition a goal so that crowd could have something to cherish. He passed the ball to Redmond for an easy finish but and in doing so he successfully provided the crowd with some action as both teams burst into life.
Southampton was desperate to hold onto their lead and Manchester City trying hard to get the equalizer. Saints were doing well until Iheanacho stepped up to score the equalizer in the 55th minute of the game. The game was there to be won but neither side was able to get the winner and it ended as a 1-1 draw.
